Gunjan is a registered acupuncturist and Level 9 certified practitioner of the Tan Balance System. This method uses points away from the "sick" area to avoid aggravating it further, and is known for the immediacy of its results and effectiveness over the long term.

Using the Balance System, Gunjan will work with your real-time responses to add and adjust needles to achieve symptom relief on the treatment table whenever applicable, followed by a treatment plan to build on and sustain the results. Gunjan also incorporates their training in psycho-emotional conditions and politicized somatics into the work. Additional modalities such as Gua Sha, Tui Na massage, and cupping may be included when appropriate.

Gunjan brings a compassionate, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive approach, and values the importance of safer health spaces as a queer AuDHD immigrant, survivor, and community organizer. Their years of experience in community acupuncture shape their straightforward and effective approach.
